“Master School” ESIC Graduation

Pastas Romero and ESIC “Business & Marketing School”

Pastas Romero, a family business with more than 90 years of experience in the pasta sector in Spain, has participated as a collaborator in the “Master School” programme of ESIC Business & Marketing School. This innovative educational project has had the participation of 52 first-year students of bachillerato (sixth form) from the schools Santa María del Pilar (Marianistas) and Compañía de Jesús (Jesuitas).

Learning and solidarity

In this programme, students had the opportunity to acquire knowledge about Digital Communication and Teamwork Skills, and apply them in a practical way in the creation of a charitable project. Specifically, the students, in groups of five people, had to come up with and present various charitable actions for the company collaborating in the project.

In this way, students were able to demonstrate their talent and creativity by implementing their marketing and digital communication skills in a real environment, developing actions that were consistent with the family values and commitment of Pastas Romero.

Charitable and creative proposals from the students

As a result of the project, the students offered original and creative ideas that highlighted their great capability. Some of the prominent proposals were: a charity bingo, where the funds raised were used to support disadvantaged families in the community. Other proposed ideas were the holding of a charity race for the same purpose and a competition to participate in and prepare food at soup kitchens.

At Pastas Romero we believe in the importance of training and in programmes where the youngest learn to develop their skills. That is why we join this type of initiative that combines solidarity with education, as they are very aligned with our philosophy and values.

We thank all the participants of the programme for wanting to learn a little more about Pastas Romero and become #RomeroLovers
